Walk duration: Full day 9am departure, return approx 4pm

South of Sydney nestled between the Royal National Park and the rugged New South Wales coastline is Bundeena, a township of 2,000 people. Our tour starts at Bundeena, takes you through the Royal National Park, to Jibbon Beach and its headland.
Along the way, see the many Aboriginal rock carvings. Follow the cliff top route with magical views back towards Cronulla. From the headland you can see Sydney’s skyline, beyond the stretch of Cronulla Beach to Botany Bay where Captain Cook first landed.
Heading south, the walk continues along the cliff top path with waves crashing on the rock platform below. Just offshore the whitecaps of the Jibbon Bombora can be seen. The coastal path comes to an end at Shelley Beach. Here a break and time to hydrate and replenish energy levels with a snack before heading back to Bundeena for lunch.
While at Bundeena, discover more of the township, visit the shops, take a walk to the beach, or explore a few more bush tracks around the township.
Next stop is Stanwell Park a well known spot for hang-gliders. Sublime Point look-out will provide you with breath-taking views south of the coast line. A visit to this area must include Sea Cliff Bridge. Walk the bridge and take in the spectacular views
The day’s adventure concludes with refreshments at a well known local hotel.
